Separation/purification and structural analysis

While we have developed advanced techniques in the areas of pharmaceuticals and electronic, automobile, and biotechnology materials, we have also advanced our technologies in separation and purification and expanded our facilities and equipment.
Recently, the importance of separation and purification has increased in various fields, such as the separation and structure determination of impurities for pharmaceutical drug candidates. The trend ensures the higher purity and quality of functional materials.

We have used all the techniques and equipment that have been accumulated. In addition to preparatory HPLC separation using silica gel and ODS and GPC columns, we perform HPLC separation of the optically active compounds using chiral columns. Furthermore, we can isolate the trace components identified by mass spectrometry using our mass-triggered HPLC equipment.

We analyze the structures of samples by completely utilizing our analytical equipment, including NMR, LC/MS, GC/MS, and MALDI–TOF/MS. Finally, we synthesize the presumed compounds to identify compounds with unknown structures for determining their structures.

  • Purification of the synthesized samples, separation of the optically active compounds using chiral columns, separation and refinement of impurities, and structural analysis
  • Purification of the commercially available reagents
  • Structural analysis by the isolation of trace impurities in pharmaceutical materials and synthesis of the presumed compounds
  • Extraction, separation, and refinement of the active ingredients from plants, herbal medicines, pharmaceutical products, and food as well as decomposition products from these sources.
