Organic EL materials

Promised OLED material as display (Organic EL)

Our company provides contractual synthesis service for OLED materials (organic EL) that offer superior visibility, responsiveness, and electricity savings which is drawing attention as the next-generation display. We have a track record of synthesizing more than a few hundred OLED materials, from metal complexes, such as Alq3, from aromatic amines, such as TPD and NPD, from phosphorescence materials, such as Ir (ppy) 3, and TADF materials, which have recently drawn attention. Production is conducted at a variety of scales, ranging from a few grams to kilograms.

For compounds with unknown synthesis pathways, we will propose synthesis pathways based on the structure. We can also accept orders for explorative study of synthesis pathways for a new compound or improvement of the production process as a fixed-term research project.

Synthesis of OLED materials

Some OLED materials have properties such as low solubility in organic solvents and low stability in light, which cause problems in synthesis. Based on our experience in handling various OLED materials, our company can provide highly purified OLED materials by completely utilizing various techniques that can be tailored to the characteristics of each material. For example, we would use a yellow lamp when handling compounds that are unstable under light irradiation.

By collaborating with NARD Chemicals Ltd., our wholly owned subsidiary, we can smoothly shift to kilogram-scale production and provide highly purified products with reduced metal content by conducting sublimation in the cleanroom.
