NARD Institute comprises at present 4 groups in charge of life science research and 6 groups in charge of material science research, from which a most appropriate group is selected and assigned the contracted project of research, depending upon its content.
Also, a group in charge of Corporate Research has been set up to meet a variety of clients' requests.
The results obtained by the research are reported to the client by the person(s) directly in charge of the research, who is(are) supposed to consistently respond to any related issue, with responsibility. The cost to be borne by the client is the actual expense of research based on the manpower calculation. The report on all the research results will be submitted to the client as soon as the research is finished.
In case of successful commercialization of the product as the research result obtained from our original idea and proposal, the client is kindly asked to pay a "contingent fee", whose detail will be agreed upon at the time of entering into the contract.
Also, the "Proposal-based Business" or "Coordination-based Business", which is to be agreed upon by a contract, will be certainly to contribute to your successful research. NARD can give advice on the scope of your research project.
Confidentiality will be assured.

After completion of a nondisclosure agreement, we would ask that the research task and any technical information be disclosed.
Also, should a manufacturing contract be involved, clients would be asked to fully disclose the details of the production process and technology involved.

We then would present a draft research plan or manufacturing specification and an estimate.
As a rule, we do not receive any compensation up to this stage.

After reaching a written agreement on a research plan or manufacturing specification and an estimate, we would execute a contract after developing mutually agreeable terms.

Following contract agreement, NARD will execute the plan involving research, testing and/or manufacturing.
Ongoing communication between the parties is considered important to the success of the project.In the case of activities expected to require an extended period of time, we would offer an interim report and review the schedule during monthly or more frequent meetings with liaison personnel.

At the conclusion of the contracted activity, NARD would submit a report, as well as samples or products with the documentation.
As for a bonus which NARD would receive for contribution to the successful commercialization, we can arrange to treat it in the contract after developing a mutual agreement.
