We are able to promote the research and development work in cooperation with customers, by fully utilizing both our advanced technology of synthesis and our composite-producing technology that have been cultivated in the two business domains, i.e., "synthesis of fine chemicals" and "development of functional materials". In our company, we are in charge of synthesizing targeted compounds, developing and offering functional materials, while a customer takes the charge of evaluation and development of such materials for new applications, so as to be able to enhance efficiency of research by way of sharing the joint research, respectively. The results thus achieved are to be jointly applied for a patent and be aimed jointly for its commercialization.

For example: By making the most of our own synthesis technology, we perform drug-designing, reaction-process development and compound production for new ligands, and NARD Institute takes the charge of synthesizing PET precursors, while the customer is expected to exert its powers in executing HOT synthesis and the study of biological evaluation, pharmacokinetics, etc. In such a manner, the research and development of new PET ligands are jointly carried out. On the other hand, production in conformity with GMP is allotted to NARD Chemicals, who is capable to extensively support the production of drugs to be used for clinical use.

For the other themes to mention, advanced, medical field-related products, pharmaceutical, agricultural-chemical and biotechnology fields, organic EL materials, fuel cells, organic microfilm solar cells, functional colorant solar cell materials, microwave reaction, etc. are currently within our scope of vision of development.
